IEC ACADEMY AND CAPACITY BUILDING
Sharing our knowledge and building the capacity of our members and technical experts is essential to enabling the full potential of our standards and CA services to make a difference to the world.
The IEC Academy is continually seeking and delivering new ways of supporting this through innovative learning opportunities and updates, and a rich database of online learning materials. To this end, the online learning platform was both upgraded with new functions as well as opened up to a public audience, eliminating the need for an IEC login.
In addition, the team was involved in more than 60 customized events that brought training and development to nearly 4 000 participants. They also organized more than 50 public webinars, which attracted over 12 000 views, featuring experts from a range of industries and countries to discuss and debate how standards and CA can address current challenges in areas such as AI, sustainability, emerging technologies, and more.
